Thread: Dark Pink Bella $500

Sigh. Very special deep pink Bella with AB crystals, and pink & peridot rhinestone trim. Cut out on left hip. Bra is maybe a smallish C, B with light padding, probably not safe for a D, measures 7-7.25" W and 6.5" H on the outside of the cup. Underbust 34". Top hip measures (strangely) between 32-33", but it seems to fit a little bigger than that on my body, I suspect there is an extra inch on the sides where the front wraps around to the back that I'm not measuring across the front and doubled. Low hip is up to about 40". Length is 36" with the chiffon curls at the hem pulled straight. I wear a US 4P and this is just a little on the big side for me (cry). Comes with fabulous sleeves with cut-outs.
This does show some wear on close inspection: Some color loss on some beads & sequins, lining wear, a missing rhinestone, a few strings of fringe need attention, a pull in the chiffon, some wear on the tops of the lycra sleeves. Has a light perfume smell. Nothing that I think would be noticeable from even a close audience view, though.









Price is $500 plus shipping, should be around $20 US flat rate priority with insurance.

Sorry SaNoorah, I missed your question. My hips are 33 high and 36 low, and as it is the skirt slides low enough on my high hips to make me wonder if it needs a tug, and it hangs rather than hugs on my low hips. If I were to tighten the elastic it would stay up, but the looseness in the bum has a minimizing effect, which is definitely not what I'm going for :). I'd say just a couple more inches would fill it out better. It's hard to guesstimate size, maybe a 6 or an 8? I've padded the bra and tightened the elastic on the sleeves, and they work OK, but also seem like they'd be better suited for someone that could fill them out a little better.

I'd take payments, and though I'm probably too picky to mention swaps, I would swap for a small bra size Sim/Oriental Original chiffon dreams style bedlah (with the round belt medallion) or a pharoanics venus maat in purple, dark pink, periwinkle, or ivory.

Ooh, I think this was my first bella! If only it still fit me...

woopsie, I missed this by a few weeks, but at the time of the picture, my high hips were 36" and my low were about 40". There wasn't a lot of room for stretch. the length of it was also a bit short for me, I'm usually wearing a 38-39" skirt.

Sure, I can do that tomorrow. In the meanwhile, I'm a B/C cup, hook the band at 30 or 31, wear my skirts at about 35" long and have a 34 upper hip. I added heavy elastic to the skirt and I think I tacked any extra length up under the beaded portion (have to look, but that's my usual procedure with these).

Sorry, I didn't forget about you, just been swamped. Will take pics and measurements today. Have to try it on and see if I'm ready to let it go too.

Okay - here are the stats:
Skirt
upper hip is 26 unstretched, 36 max. I added extra elastic and it stays up well on my 34 hip.
Length is 36. I ideally wear 35, but this was fine on me. I had one small piece pinned up at the front, unpinned seemed fine too.

Bra
Band 34, cups unpadded measure (with tape dipped in) h6.5 x v6.5 x diag 6. I wear a B or C and this was fine.

Condition
Very good overall. A few signs of wear if you look close. a few sequins close to the hooks have slightly silvered. A couple of the silver beads on the drape have gone grey, and one purple drop is a little silvery. No major peeling of the colored beads that I can find. The chiffon is in good condition, no missing jewels or beads that I can see. All accessories are intact and looking good: head band, 2 arm floofies and two arm/ankle bands.

Look of the color varies with the monitor, but in person it's a true royal grape soda purple.

I love it, but I have one in blue, and even though the blue one is older and needed lots of restoration it's still my favorite on me, and I seem to wear it more.
