Up for sale is a gorgeous vintage bedlah…in perfect condition except for the lining which could use a wash. White seed beads combine with gold bugle beads, yum yum! I've worn the belt half a dozen times (awesome fringe movement), but the bra was always too big for me and I never got around to padding it.

stats:
belt form is cupped butt, straight front 2.5" wide, widest part of the belt in back is 6.75" wide
fringe on the belt is 10" long, and the diagonal fringe is 4.5"
belt is one piece, 39.5" from end to end

bra is 36" from end to end
underbust from one outer cup edge to the other is 13"
middle part can be adjusted wider or narrower
typical abla double strap system - halter and over the shoulder
pressing into unpadded cups, 6.5 to to bottom, 7.5" side to side, 7" diagonal

Wow this is gorgeous!!! Where do you find these beautiful vintage sets? If I didn't have $200 owed on my Pixie shoot on Sunday I would take this in a heartbeat. I dont have a white set. I will keep checking though I'm SURE it will be gone before the weekend :-( With the bra measurements you gave would you consider this a C cup? I am a D cup, no way around it and am not sure if I could get the girls ALL in there. But it is a lovely set for sure

TanyaLV found it at Rak West last March and I purchased it from her. I'm really not sure of the cup size…it is deeper than my other bedlah bras with the same measurements. Thanks!

I have a turquoise set that has this same double strap thing going on wonder if it's a Madam Alba as well. I has sequined clamshells on the cups and on the belt with the same angled fringe along with longer fringe along the bottom. It's old looking but I don't know if it's from care neglect or if it's just old. I have taken some of the fringe off cause there was just way too much for my squatty body but it was my first belly dance costume. would you know one if you saw it? I can send you a picture if you give me an address to send it to.

I might know…post a picture here, we all love to see cool costumes. The tag on Ablas never say abla, they just say Made in Egypt.

Yeah this one had no tags in it that I saw so maybe not but the inside looks the same as well.

I'm guessing that's a late '80s - early '90s Madame Abla set; it looks a lot like the one that I own. Very nice!

Putting this baby back up on the swap meet page. Its a beauty and I have not worn it, but saw pics last night of myself in another fringy thing and realize it is just too much for my short torso. Its a steal, iridescent sequins all over, typical TOP NOTCH Abla fringe.

Same price, same deal.
