I love this costume but I'm really getting frustrated trying to make it fit me comfortably..

Brand new! only wore once for a performance that didn't happen, lol.paid 650 new.
cup is c (I believe) 6 1/2 dia; 6 vert; 7 across; 35 from end to end and 11 each strap
skirt is 29 un/37 str on top of skirt; 37 un/40 str; length is 38 inches; length can be taken up from inside of skirt but I neither have proper skill or time to do so.

Aw - what part doesn't fit? You had this on order for some time. I have one in purple with silver beading, got it to fit me really well.

I'll take more detailed measurements pending interest but its a c cup..length is 37-38 inches..

I have a request for a purple and gold costume for New Year's Eve...am having a HARD time finding that combo oddly enough. Seems everyone likes purple and silver?? What is the upper hip measurement? I had bought this style from Julsie and LOVED, LOVED, LOVED the costume, but it keeps falling off of me : ( which is especially difficult since it is long. Where does it seem to not fit? I may just take this off your hands or have a suggestion!!

HOLY MOLY!! I did not expect this type of response..Been gone all day shoping and such and there are a few cossies up here that I had my eye on..so..in a nutshell...
1. I thought I had uploaded the pic but it appears its too big so will work on that prompty in am along with exact measurements although I think I can find old email from Dahlal..

2. Caryn, I do still love the lovestruck but now I have an orange on the way so let me ponder..though I do owe ya for the turq and a few others which is other reason I was considering selling..

3. The dark pink bella I soooo had my eye on and even mentioned as early as a few weeks ago..or was it another?,,may have to recheck my "files" in my brain..

4. Problem Im having is getting it to stay up where I like and its a bit long for me and finding the time to alter is not working out..I added some elastic on the outside of the wasitband but its not enough..

let me sleep on all this and get back to you ladies in am while I work on pics and measurements..

I had thought about putting an extra wide layer of elastic on the inside of mine (at the upper hip0, but I think I also needed a 37" length....

The Eman is lovely, but I have NO TORSO at all, LOL...I don't think that bra style would work.

Gah, I'm afraid 37 lower hip is going to not hug the same way my pink doesn't... When you get a chance, can you tell me what size you are and how it fits your upper/lower hips? What does the back of the "belt" area measure vertically? Thanks.

Im somewhere between a 2 to a 4. My bigest problem is I wear my skirts a little higher o hide my "baby Bulge" which is why Im having problem. My upper hip is about a 34 but I like them a little higher..Ill take pics tonight after I get home and better measurements.. I stll like the pink so maybe if this sells..

I've had several of these and I always 1- add a heavy elastic in a criss cross thread casing, pulled TIGHT and 2- I usually tack the extra length up under the bottom of the beading. Works like a charm, stays up and everything.

did that on elastic and on length..Just dont have time/skills and honestly am questioning if its my style..thinking of a trimmed in treasure...

Looks like I'd have the same problem as you Lisa, so one less decision here. Thanks for considering the trade.

forgot to measure the back..11 inches vertical..skirt seems to hug the hips ok but like I mentioned, I tend to wear my skirts a bit higher. I sent you pics, right? brain loopey from long weekend..

No, I didn't get pics, that would be great, sounds like we are close in size, I'll send you an email address. And I was thinking, might it be possible to add a thread casing for an elastic around the bottom of the "belt" part if needed? I think that would actually do the trick if it doesn't "cup" as it is...
