Brocade trim 12 yard spinning skirt $35
1.SOLD Royal blue velvet mermaid skirt with chiffon gores- upper hip stretches from 27-43", length 38". It closes with a hook at the top so there is a slit all the way up where the hook is and an extra long gore on both sides of the slit. There is an elastic waistband. The velvet part is beaded in a floral pattern with royal blue holographic sequins. Comes with a matching 3 yard chiffon veil with sequined edge. I got it from a former troupe mate, it had come with a gorgeous full Turkish costume that she got from Dahlal about 8 years ago. Neither of us ever wore it but the veil has a snag and there are some lose threads around the gores of the skirt since they weren't serged. $70Type: AccessoriesStyle: OrientalCostume Size: Not sure of size, or not applicableSeller's Country: USAStatus: Available

2.SOLD Red chiffon and gold sequin skirt and veil set- comes with 2 skirts and a mini half circle veil. The underskirt is 36" long and has 2 slits. The over skirt is made from a different kind of chiffon and has 1 slit. The hem is a bit uneven and is 33-35" long. The over skirt has some snags so the whole set is priced low. $25

3.SOLD Black with royal blue brocade trim ~12 yard skirt. Length 35.75-36", drawstring waist. $35

Could you post a picture of the blue skirt on a body? I like it but would like to see how it hangs before committing to purchase

Also, shipping to 98377

Re: Closet Cleaning- Skirts
Hi Susan! Here is a picture of me wearing the skirt. I had tacked the slit together and had my bf take a pic when I first got it to see how it looked on me. It would look much better on someone with bigger hips so I took out the few stitches that I had put it to hold it together (I probably should have put that in the original description but I had forgotten about it!) and it has been sitting in a sale box ever since. I would recommend that whoever buys it sew the slit together anyways since it will emphasize the hips better that way. The funny thing is, I think the Saroyan bedlah I paired with it for the photo was made from coins I bought from you a few years back when you were doing a retirement sale for a friend! Let me know if you want more photos or details and I will be happy to get them.

Be right back with a shipping quote...

Ok, for shipping it looks like it is $10.46 for parcel post or $10.95 for priority.

Re: Closet Cleaning- Skirts
Hey, you did get those coins from me...nice bedlah! I'm not sure about the skirt, I need to think about it some more. I'm not sure the slit would look good with the bedlah I want to pair it with and my hips are 37...you mentioned it would look better on bigger hips and I'm not sure what you were thinking of as bigger?

Re: Closet Cleaning- Skirts
Thanks! It's one of my favorites; it's so versatile.
Sure, let me know what you decide. If you want I can take some pictures wearing a different style bedlah with it. My upper hip is 32" and lower is 34-35", I think it might be better on someone a few inches bigger then me since I had to overlap it several inches to make it look snug on my hips.

I'm interested in the black skirt. What's the waistband unstretched please?

Re: Closet Cleaning- Skirts
Oh my gosh, I'm so sorry I didn't respond sooner! I have been away and forgot to check this post. The unstretched waistband is 32". It has elastic and a drawstring so it can be tied to fit smaller hips then that. When I wore it my upper hip was about 31" and the skirt is very heavy and still stayed up.
