Oman Gown: fabric from Queen (or Sultan's mom or whatever) of Oman (really!) - The fabric was a regift from a musician who performed for the royals somehow, I can't remember!

This fabric piece was uncut when I got it; designed to be made into a gown, which I did. It's a gorgeous SILK SATIN, very lush and soft. Great for holiday haflas!

It's heavily embroidered on the yoke front, and sleeve accents.

Shoulder to hem: 57"; there's an open slit on each side measuring about 27".
Laid flat and measured across the width is 22", making it roomy for medium / large size people. Measured from sleeve cuff to middle of dress is 25". (It's a T-shape, not set-in sleeves)
