Good morning ladies,

I am relisting this Vintage, in perfect condition, White and gold Abla that I just purchased from Ezma. As all her costumes are... it is pristine! My torso just can't handle it and I need to let it go. I have not worn it.

Because I hate when you need to click a link, and then another link, and then another link, when people resell, I am copying the description, which is accurate, but you have the pics here. Ezma, I hope you don't mind if I use yours, they were really good and very accurate.

Here goes:

Up for sale is a gorgeous vintage bedlah…in perfect condition except for the lining which could use a wash. White seed beads combine with gold bugle beads, yum yum! I've worn the belt half a dozen times (awesome fringe movement), but the bra was always too big for me and I never got around to padding it.

stats:
belt form is cupped butt, straight front 2.5" wide, widest part of the belt in back is 6.75" wide
fringe on the belt is 10" long, and the diagonal fringe is 4.5"
belt is one piece, 39.5" from end to end

bra is 36" from end to end
underbust from one outer cup edge to the other is 13"
middle part can be adjusted wider or narrower
typical abla double strap system - halter and over the shoulder
pressing into unpadded cups, 6.5 to to bottom, 7.5" side to side, 7" diagonal

Hi Thalia, I don't mind at all. This is such a wonderful bedlah…I miss it already, especially the fringe. Sassy when you dance in it!!!!

could you post body pics? I am having a hard time figuring out if the bra would fit. The measurements given are my exact size but since its a balconette I dont know if it will fit differently. What cup size do you think it would ideally fit?

I love this. I have discovered that V-shaped fringe on the bra is very flattering to my body type. I don't have an hourglass shape, I'm high-waisted and kind of straight, and the fringe shape gives me a nice waistline! I want this but really shouldn't spend the money right now. Lucky person who gets it!

Hi,

I do not have body pics, sorry. I have never worn it, I just received it from Ezma. I am a large C/Small in costumes and this fit perfectly. If you have ever tried on an Abla, they are all the same... wonderful. Its not so much a balconette, it is just that the straps are small straps instead of the thick ones you see now. It has 2 sets of straps (they are all like this), one set is a halter, the other regular. Makes them very secure.

If you know this is a perfect style for your body, you should consider it. I only say it because a vintage Abla set is not something you just find again :) Just saying'
