Veil is no longer for sale, I have just posted intent on a Leopard print costume I think this will go beautifully with! So I'm going to keep it. The moral of the story? When you buy a veil that doesn't match anything you own, that means it's time to buy a costume!



Howdy folks, I am putting up my brand new Nahari Silk veil for sale, I just received it today, it is gorgeous! Unfortunately, it is not the color combination I thought it was; curse my whacked-out monitor....it's a blends veil, super light yellow with gold edges, you can see a pic here:

It's the one called snowlights, top right. On my monitor it appears to be a silver veil with gold edging. My monitor is a liar. It's actually lovely light yellow edged in gold and I truly wish I had something it matched, it's really beautiful.

I will only have this for sale for the next week or so, I have 15 days to return it for a different one, but I thought I'd see if anyone else would like to buy it. Since it's brand new I'd like close to what I paid, $41.00, but I will include US shipping and paypal fees in that price. Thanks for looking!

It also appears silver with gold on my monitor (as does Yellow Snow). Might be best if you can find time to post a photo

Thanks for confirming the strange coloring of that picture Tatiana; I have uploaded a pic I took of the veil, I left it folded so the color would appear more opaque and hopefully easier to see the true color. However on my monitor the pic I took appears much yellower than it actually is, the center portion of the veil is a very pale yellow IRL.


ETA: hehehehe, yellow snow.....don't eat it....

Did you contact the vendor to verify you received the correct veil. The vendor's image does not look like the image you have shown.

Also, if you are looking for something gold and silver you might want to check Daisy Hill Silks. I have two of her veils and they are lovely.

This one is bi-colored half and half...but based on some of her other veils she could probably make one similar to the one you thought you were purchasing from Nahari.

Thanks for the info Dawn, I haven't contacted the vendor yet, I was going to wait until after the holiday; she has a pretty generous return time so I'm not in a hurry. I really prefer to buy veils from Nahari though, she uses 4mm silk and it's just the lightest most amazing thing to dance with; the hang time is fantastic.

Yes, 15 days is generous.

4mm? I've only worked with 5mm or 6mm...hmmm....
