Gauging for a swap - and I am going to be very selective about this trade...

Up for consideration is my baby - a Burgundy Bella. Measures are approximate and will be coming soon. It's an older style, but a very very coveted one as the entire skirt is beaded from hip to floor! It's amazing! Here are previews...



Bra @C cup (I am a D and it fits but is very cleavagey).
Underbust 33"

Upper hip: 34"
Lower hip: 38"
Length: 35/36"

Comes with 2 armbands and 1 headband.
I had the zipper professionally replaced on this and it cost a large amount as Bella had installed the original zipper then hand beaded over the costume (argh). She is perfect again and ready for another dancer.

I would like to get a Bella with the cut outs in the bra. That's a style I have coveted for a long while and I keep missing them. I am a 34D cup and I'd like to get a 35/36" UH and somewhat of a shortie length please. Jewel tones please...

I can confirm there is a lot of detail work on this costume, I just remeber staring at the skirt and just being amazed by all the hardwork a beader had put into this.

I'd be afraid this would be too narrow. This one is really hard to extend. I replaced the current zipper as I noted, but what an ordeal... Bella created the skirt, attached the zipper, and THEN handed beaded over it. It had to be artfully and carefully cut around so there was no bead loss and then replaced and carefully whip stitched into place. The seamstress told me it was certainly stressfull! When I was about a 38" UH, I had tried to squeeze into it and the only way I had some success was wearing a sugar petal body stocking that sucked me in and I could barely breathe, I had moved the hook and eye at the top and attached it to an elastic to give me a little breathing room, that elastic is now removed and the hook/eye is back at it's original location.

Girl, I think I told you I held this costume in my hands for almost 20 solid minutes gazing at it after I got it from you! It is truly a piece of art. I WILL keep it if I don't find something equally amazing to replace it. I just thought I'd put it out there as I have worn it a few times and for this photo session where it finally looks "right" on me.

Oh - and it has some "pregnant Sadie" mojo too! I performed at a show she headlined and post show took a picture with her 8 month pregnant self! She's so sweet!

34" is the max UH sadly... I wore it once at a 38" but I had a panel inserted into the zipper with a bustle conceal at that point, because I loved it. That had been removed a long while back.
