Hi Ladies -

Skirt has sold, am selling the necklace and armbands, both with fringe, for $75, NOW $49 including shipping and all fees in the U.S. Contact me for additional international shipping rates…will send anywhere on the planet.

I am selling this repurposed and rehabbed Stageworthy vintage skirt and accessories. It shows too much leg for my part of the country - and I'm moving on to my next rehab project. I really enjoy bringing items back to life and passing them on

It was a beledi dress that Shadiah wore in the 80s on her world tour. The torso and underarms of the dress could not be saved, so it became a skirt. The 8" fringe on the sleeves could not be used as is, so I painstakingly restrung all the fringe and made two armbands and a necklace.

I cleaned the skirt in the washing machine after I cut it in half, then I rebeaded ALL the missing sequins and pearls, omg I thought it would never end, lol. The outer skirt is decorated chiffon, and the underskirt is silver lame. They are attached to each other on all sides except the bottom, where they are not sewn together.

The casing on the skirt was made with the chiffon that was still attached to the skirt. All sewing was done by hand and is sturdy and secure for many years to come. The only quick way to shorten the skirt is to roll the elastic waistband, or cut off the top of the skirt and make a new casing.

There is a silver lame veil…it came with a small tear. Shadiah wore the veil as poofs on her skirt.

Also included is the DVD Visual Melodies, which shows Shadiah wearing the now gone beledi dress in its silver shining glory of silveryness.

Skirt is 39" long in the front, 40" long in the back. Current max armband is about 10.5 - 10.75. I can include a small piece of silver elastic if requested to expand the armbands.

thanks Showtime, rehabbing/repurposing via hand sewing is something I enjoy doing…it keeps me at home and out of trouble lol.
