'Hi Ladies;
I have posted my green coin Bella. It is in excellent condition. I know there is a line forming for those currently searching for a Coin. Please post your intent to this thread only.
This costume was Sedona's and is a kelly green with gold accents. The chiffon skirt is green with a gold underskirt. No beading on the skirt and if I remember correctly it is 38 plus inches long . Easily shortened if you need to- I just rolled it myself for 35".
The bra is a C heavily padded by the prior owner. It is 8 " horizontal, 7" vertical and 8" diagonal. The belt can go to 38" and is two pieces. It currently has a one inch overlap permanently sewn down on one side. Hooks on the opposite side. The belt is currently set for 35 1/2".

definitley intent. I now remember this from when Sedona originally posted, and the measurements will fit me perfectly.

I need a little help with Bhuz protocol

Does intent pending some questions put you in line ahead of a straight " i will take it?"

1. ssventure07 has intent but questions-maybe too big
2. Sa Noorah has intent pending measurements and then later intent.
3. YAzeena 'will take it' no questions
4.Lisashimmy intent
5. Hypathiah intent
6. Amarasdance intent
7.ShoshannaQ intent

and then there is the ISO post. What I am asking is do I work down the line as it stands or do I go straight to Yazeena as she knows the costume and wants it no questions...
I will be looking in the future with all of you ladies for costumes and want the best working relationship possible.

I am asking $450 for the costume

I will post more pictures and measurements when i get home if it is needed by a potential buyer. Paypal, fees, and shipping to be covered by buyer

Hi Lyrical - I found Sedona's original post, hence I went back to see the pics and details and Although the skirt is long for me, I know everything else will work and it's the color I've been looking for. I was just trying to be good last time.

IMHO "interested" is merly a technicality. More of a loophole as in " I really want this but need to make sure the measurements, pics, etc..will work". Most of the dancers here are honorable but have been around long enough to make sure the costume is going to work for her if all the information is not readibly available. As a seller, I honor "Interested" just as much as "intent"..in the end though, its up to the seller.

Still intent , even though I know it won't get to me, just keeping my fingers crossed.

IMO you're doing an honorable thing by posting on the thread "hey, what's the protocol" and honestly its a tough call. I think the first, best thing to do is NOT to post a costume until you, as the seller, have assembled all of the measurements and photographs necessary.
But since the teaser went out, what's fair? I think you could take Yazeena's intent and just say thanks for all the interest, I needed a quick sale. OR you could follow the line up in the thread and give each person a set amount of time to respond before you move to the next in line. You risk Yazeena taking her money to the next available costume while you move through the line.
Be forthcoming with everyone about your intentions and I'm sure nobody will be horribly put out. These things happen. Maybe just have all your info ready next time to avoid this.

Agree with Lisa - in the end its up to the seller.

I usually take interested pending questions as intent. If i have a situation where i cannot i usually try to post as such.

I also agree with jessani 100%.

Personally, I still own things that could have sold a year ago, because someone posted intent with questions, and later someone said "intent- no questions asked". The "intent with questions took several days to decide and ultimately decided no. I moved on to the "intent- no questions" and she had already spent her money elsewhere. Nobody else was interested. So a year later, I still have something that I will not wear. Had I skipped the lady with questions, I would have made that sale.

On the other hand, I can see the disappointment of being the first to post intent on something (but needed more information) and then being passed over.

I agree. I think sometimes it can be a learning process too. If you are posting but don't have any details or information then As Jessani suggested wait until you do.

at minimum and if the original post is still active (with details and pics).... say "hey, I'm posting this. I don't have the time to take actual measureemtns, I will tonight. Here's the link I purchased from .....", I've seen others sellers here do that, and I've done that on occasion, espeically when I haven't worn or altered the costume. But will come back and say all measurements are accurate. etc.

I agree Amara - I've did the same thing and the same result occured. which is a total bummer!! I'm slowly learning that sometimes you just have to in the end take a hit on a costume. I'm realizing (from input from several frineds), sometimes it's better to make $200 and get something out of your house then hold onto it to try to get the price you purchased (say $300)

anyway....that second paragraph has nothing to do with the current topic :)

If the people in line don't buy it quickly, then go to Yazeena (the bidder waving her hand with money honey). I have been burned waiting for people to respond. I don't like playing the waiting game when someone has money ready unless I know the person or they have bought from me before. Just buy 2 cents! Good luck to you gals!

I will go to Yazeena first and then to SaNoorah and on down the line with those who know the costume and know it meets their requirements. I will wait 24 hours to hear from each person if I need to move down the line. I do not mean to disrespect anyone in this process. It is new to me to have multiple people interested in a costume.
SaNoorah Thank-you for looking up the prior post. I truthfully did not recollect the sold price only that Sedona and I experienced some unexpected costs associated with the sale that I had emblazoned in my memory. We all have such experiences.
I will honor the $450 price plus Paypal fees plus shipping.

I think the "big crash" in 2008 changed Bhuz and the Swap Meet a great deal. Before then, "intent" meant "I'm ready to buy, need your PayPal, sending $$ within X number of hours--or is it OK if I send it tomorrow, next week, whatever (sending PM to confirm)." Now "intent pending whatever" seems more of a way to "buy time". Not always, of course. If it's unintentionally a "teaser" post without sufficient information for someone to make a solid, quick decision, then "intent with questions or pending XYZ" is the way to go, IMO. However, I think your post contained sufficient information (bra size, belt & skirt length, color). Price was the only thing missing, but the original post was a big clue.

Before 2008, I had never had anyone back out of a posted intent. Since then, different story. Although most transactions are great -- both buying & selling -- I've had "intent, I'll take it" posts that never followed up (NOT talking about a day or two, I understand time zones, etc., needing more time to pay, etc. -- I mean weeks, or no response at all.) And had someone else who had been ready to pay, but spent their money elsewhere, as someone mentioned above. My worst nightmare was a $15 item! The person who posted "intent" asked a gazillion questions in the thread, though PM's and emails -- agonized as if it were $15,000 -- I ended the agony by donating the item, LOL ... Most of my transactions--buying & selling--have been with only a few dancers I've gotten to know ove the years, so I don't usually have a problem working something out.

Just a note -- I understand how tough money is to come by these days, I really really really do -- but the seller is sometimes going through the same thing, letting go of something maybe to pay a bill, whatever. You are risking a sale by not giving dibs to the "I'll take it now, no questions"! My 2 cents: If you don't have all the info ready, go by "intent pending whatever". If all the info is there, "I'll take it now, no questions" should have dibs.

But I agree, this one is a tough call! Good luck to all, it's a drop-dead gorgeous cossie!! Hope my 2 cents (okay, 50 cents, I talk way too much, haha) doesn't offend anyone ....

I agree with to a certain degree..but it is difficult to place a firm "intent" when all of the information, particularily price, wasn't listed. there was at very least an "intent pending price" followed by "intent".
Most sellers will give at least a 24 hr time frame to respond when lines are forming.
with that in mind..please think of us in line, Yazeena, if it doesnt work for you.

I agree. and I do know that original posts aren't always available (i.e. after a certain time frame they are no longer searchable).

In this case the original post was searchable (and at some point those that were interested did their due diligence to search for it), however, price, which can be a high deciding factor in whether a person can purchase was omitted.

Absolutely, I agree. I was referring to more vague "intent" or "interested" posts & probably wasn't clear. That was my "intent anyway. (haha, sorry, bad joke - very,very, very bad.., hehehehe)

OTOH, it would have been nice to begin the line as it was on the other thread where it began. I was ready to buy, except for the others I thought were ahead of me.

Again, I think its great that you are looking for feedback and trying to be an open & up-front seller. People will remember that and respect you more for it. We all had to start somewhere and I know I've certainly made buying and selling mistakes. The "interest" vs "intent" debate goes around and around. Be confident in whatever decision you make with this sale and apply what you've learned today to your next sale.

Thanks again for all the input. I have sent an e-mail to Yazeena and will wait 24 hours and then move down the line if needed. Each person will be notified via this forum that they are next up should a potential buyer decline.
I have posted the exact measurements in the original post. Does anyone need additional pictures to verify these measurements?. I did not ask for Sedona's permission to use her pictures of the costume (so did not post) but if you have it in your favorites- well - what can I say:).

Love green, so despite it being a little big would still like to give a try even though I think Yazeena would look GREAT in it.
