Wondering if there is any interest in this Pharaonics lime green and turquoise. It consists of:

Bra
Skirt
2 long gauntlets/arm bands
2 ankle bands

(not shown but included: 1 smaller arm band, 1 headband)

The costume has been used by a few dancers (I might have been the 3rd or 4th owner here on Bhuz...) and the modesty drape was an addition by the dancer before me, I believe. It can be removed for a leggy look, however. Will fit a variety of hip sizes from the mid 30's to the mid 40's due to the lycra. Bra cups fit me when I was a full C (here in pics), all the way down to a current B cup. Due to the styling, could handle a small D as well...but not a large D or DD. Hooks are currently set at 31 1/2", but can go upto 36".

Any interest?

I measured the skirt length in two places. The way the skirt top is designed, it sits higher on the upper hip than most of my costumes, and comes down lower where the "circle" is at the side of the hip. The skirt is 36" long where it comes down/worn lower at the circle...and it is about 39" long where it is worn higher on the hip the rest of the way around.


Condition:

As stated before, this costume has seen a few different owners, and it is pretty much in the condition that I received it in last year. I have only performed in it 4 times. There are no missing dangles, sequins, etc. that I could see giving it a once over...but because it has seen wear from a few dancers, there are some small snags in the lycra (like on the underside of the arm bands where they rub against the bra embellishments, on areas of the skirt, etc. There are a couple of places where there are makeup marks on the inside of the costume. There is some light dirt along the bottom edge of the skirt, how costumes get when worn in restaurants, etc. and touch the floor.

The modesty drape (not made by me) was sewn on it when I purchased it, and I kept it there...but it could be replaced with a nicer/newer fabric. It has great construction, however, an AWESOME color combination, and I have gotten a zillion compliments each time I wore it. The cut out circle at the hip has beige stocking material sewn behind it, so you CAN wear nude underwear with it.

Considering that it is a Pharaonics with headband, 3 armbands, 2 ankle bands, etc...and the construction is fantastic...I would like to ask $375 for it, including shipping.

I DID do a couple of small improvements to it when I received it-tacking down a few places, etc. I had planned to do more to it (because I looooooove it) but I am getting to where the bra isn't fitting me well anymore due to weight loss.

so top of skirt to bottom of skirt is 39" total length??

IYO do you think it's hemmable? maybe from the circle skirt portion and tighter portion??

Yes, it is about 39", except for the part where it goes lower at the circle cutout. It is supposed to sit higher than most belly dance skirts, per the design. It sits on my low waist/higher hip, and then where the circle cut out area is, it sits where my other skirts NORMALLY sit. (I usually wear a 36"-37" skirt.)

It could be hemmed easiest at the seamline that is right at the bottom of the heavily decorated hip portion where that goes into the more flared part of the skirt. (Easiest seen in my rear view photo...lol)
