So I'm starting a new thread for this one and am selling the skirt set and bedlah separately or together, whichever comes first.

#1 Red Bedlah: I bought this last year from Raqs Estella and have since reinforced the fringe, replaced and re-beaded the belt and bra, and tacked down rhinestones and pearls. There are a couple strands of fringe missing since before I got it. A few of the pearls have lost their coating as well but are still white. I made the belt a 2 piece like it was originally and added 2 tabs to the sides for extra length.

The belt goes to 44" in the upper hip max. I have it at 39" (my lower hips are 45"), but it can easily go smaller since it's a 2 piece.

The fringe on this is fantastic... about 4" long, several layers and beaded with long, spiral glass beads instead of seed beads, so it flows and moves lovely.

The bra is halter style, 36" underbust max, and fits a C or large B best. It already has padding in it, so you could get a big C in there if you remove that. This will fit an A if you add more padding or don't like cleavage.

#2 Skirt and Pants Set: Also for sale a white chiffon circle skirt and pants which once belonged to the dancer Rose Champagne. These are embroidered in silver and red with a few silver sequins and are vintage as well. The circle skirt is about 35 to 36" in length and has a slit on each side. The skirt can be shortened easily by threading the elastic through the lower portion of the casing (I extended the skirt up top, so that it would be longer, but you can make it shorter again with no sewing... just moving the elastic). I think I paid close to $100 for the skirt set.

this red is haunting me...

i'm actually sitting here and thinking about how much work it would take to build a totally new bra for it.... and wondering when i would have time to do it since I have 3 costume orders to finish before May.

There are slits on the sides of the skirt, but none in the harems.

The skirt is gorgeous... full of detail, clean, vintage, high quality chiffon, and looks great over the harem pants or over a red or other color skirt.

Red Bra and Belt are off market for now... don't you hate friends who convince you to keep things? lol

Hi! It's an old version of Leylet Hob from a friend's vinyl record. It's over a 20 min long track that I edited down to 5min using audacity. I believe the record is a Mohammed Abdel Wahab and Oum Kalthoum one... not sure of the year or the title, but it's older. The first 20 min track is all instrumental. If you do a google search for Mohammed Abdel Wahab Leylet Hob (or maybe even "Night of Love") you'll probably find it.

Keeping the bedlah, because it does still fit and flatter me, because I'm sick of trying to sell it, and because it's the best thing I have right now for Turkish Oriental style.

Still selling the skirt though. I love love love it, but that much white doesn't really work for me, and I've only grabbed for it once in 2ish years. Last bump before it goes up on etsy as a vintage item sometime this week.
