Incredible black feather bella! I have gotten so many compliments on this costume! But, I feel like this one is a little tight on my butt (39 inch booty!), so I decided to sell it and get something I'm more comfortable wearing. The original mesh had been cut out and new mesh sewn in and it wasn't sewn in so that the stretchy way was stretchable. It was stretched a little tight, and got runs in it. I replaced the running mesh with shiny silver black mesh which looks great, and have lots extra fabric to include with it. I have some random extra feathers that have fallen off. I wore this minimally (6 or 7 times or so). I was waiting for a themed show to sell this (did a raven themed number with wings). This one is a titch longer than the others I think. I call this cherry because of the deep red, but the pink sequin accents add a little color and reminds me of the color of cherries. I got this in bellas shop. I love the fringe on the butt and bra! The arm fringe too, that you have to put your arm through it, its not just draped on the sleeves. and the wrist cuffs! THese are special! warning- the red color might bleed onto you! I noticed it more when I first got it. After wearing this my undies were always pink and even my white pants were pinkish from my legs at the beginning. I washed this one and noticed it less, but I wouldn't put it next to your white costume JUST in case. There is a small amount of seed beads missing on the wrist cuffs and ribcage straps. (difficulty hooking). There is wear where the straps criss cross in the back also. I asked bella to keep the little cut out open since it was open in her shop, I liked the way it looked! :)
It was hard to capture the true color in the photos! Its crushed red velvet, not pink like these photos make it looks

size on the cherry red?

REd measurements: 35 inch ribcage
cups: no padding ( I had some padding in) Diagonal is 8 inches, across is 7.5, up and down is 6.5
Skirt: hips 33 inches. Which I think is very odd because my hips measure 34.5! I can usually wear 34 inches well....very odd! THere is a bit of elastic that can be let out I think. It stretches a little when I pull on it, so I know its not just there to be tightened, but can indeed be undone.

Thank you for posting full body pics. The feathers are cool. I am going to pass on it since I am paranoid with the feathers coming off here and there and I like a lot of room for leg movement.

What are the skirt measurements on the black?

Guess I am bad at posting measurements! Thought I had done that! Sorry!
Bra: Diag is almost 8 inches, across is 7, up and down is 6. This felt like one of my smaller cups, though I still added light padding to it.
skirt: 33 inch hips, length laying on floor is 39 inches.

Girl... not only do we have the same taste but we're the same size! If I hadn't just paid for 2 customs from Bella I'd be all over it... though I am afraid black feathers + south florida tropical weather would not = glamor after 10 minutes ;)

I really LOVE the black, but my upper hip is 35. how stretchy is the skirt band?

It is not real stretchy. There is some give, the skirt is extremely stretchy, but the waistband won't come out any more, really. You could use the headband to made it bigger if its too tight.

I have owned many feather costumes ....mostly Emans , and have shed plenty of feathers. However I've never seen Shimmytwin shed a feather in this Bella and we dance together alot .

I just adore that black feather...if I hadn't just committed to helping my brother with some medical expenses, I'd be seriously tempted. Just for kicks, what would you say the bra is in terms of street size -- i.e. B/C/D cup?

Rosalind I sent you a PM. short answer here, I think its more of a C cup. I'm 34D and I thought it was fine, though definitely one of the smallest bras.
