I suddenly have a bug up my fundament that's making me miss my old Neckelmann's !
I bought it a couple of years back from Nancy Asiya. It was the old "Vegas" style that had straight V-fringe, not all the loops like the new ones do. It was flattering and comfy and Nancy had added really pretty appliqués to the hips -

SO - anyone out there remember buying it from me? If so, wanna sell it back?

OR - Anyone have a Neckelmann's in this style, in my size? B/C cup, 34 upper hip? Will consider some other colors -
Nancy, I hope it's okay that I used your pic. I saw your pic on the Neckelmann's site and suddenly wanted it back.

I have been haunting this forum looking for a Neckelmann's in my size for 2 years. No luck yet for me, but I wish it for you!

No kidding! When I first started on Bhuz there were a whole bunch of them for sale. I think the newer designs are less flattering. I should never have sold mine!

I know, it's weird that it's on their customer page. I know Lesgemini Zafirah used to have a lot of theirs, saw hers on there too. But I couldn't miss that photo of yours. I always thought it was so cool looking with the cascade of flowers on your belly, really lovely!

Thanks, hon! I just got it in a trade, and it's only been worn once by the previous owner! It's at my seamstress's right now, but if you want it, I can get it back soon. It does not have blue, but silver, as in that pic the light was making it look bluish. It has a very Native American look to it, and has two skirts, the tie-dye one you see here, and a black one just like it; they are both cotton. I like it, but am willing to send it, as I need the money. Not sure it's quite my style, either; I like Lebanese costumes

If you want detailed measurements, just let me know!

Nah, it was brewing for a long time. You may have stirred the pot a little, but it really hit me when I saw Nancy's picture on the Neckelmanns website. Sometimes I think we're all nuts!

I have a peacock with gold. I think it's a 32B though. I'll double check.

Yeah, in costumes I hook at 31 and B just means no padding. Pics? Condition? Price?

Exactcly WHY I haven't sold a costume yet... I just know if I do one day I will go to reach for it and it will be gone and I will cry. Lol

I really need to find a way to let go.

BTW, if anyone is interested - I emailed the Neckelmanns guys with Nancy's pic and asked if they were ever going to bring back that design. They said yes, the Vegas would be back this week and the Zigzag next month or so. Hope so.

023-rassism.jpgI have a royal blue/gold Vegas costume but I would miss it so much if I sold it. I paired it with an LRose crushed velvet trumpet skirt and gauntlets, and an Akai veil. I have a few designer costumes but I love this one best.

So sorry the pic is so small..the fact that I actually was able to get it on here is a true miracle!

Looks great on you from what I can see! So funny- some of my favorite pics of me were in my humble Neckelmann's too. Strange how that happens, designer name or not. Will post mine tomorrow when I'm on my laptop, not my iPad.
