Hi Ladies!

Today I am selling a couple of faboulus dresses for a friend of mine. She is one of my mentors who is retiring some gorgeous stuff, including a great vintage Madame Abla.

Since I have never sold nor shoped for a dress I measured the bust measurements and the total length of the dress from top of bust to floor, which does not include straps. If you need more measurements I can ask her to measure. Depending on your size the costumes could work from anywhere from 5'2'' to 5'7''. To show this versatility me and a friend of mine are both wearing them in the pics. For reference I am 5'7'' 32C 32 upper hip and 37 lower hip roughly 120lb, my friend is 5'3'' 34D 36 upper hip 41 lower hip roughly 135 lb. I will be known as Model A and she is Model B in the pics. The costumes work for my size though the waist would need some alteration on a couple and they all fit her great. Prices are posted on each, she is a motivated seller so serious, reasonable offers will be entertained. Please post intent and questions here.

1.Turquoise Legends Dress $500 plus paypal fees and shipping

I have always personally loved this dress and was so excited to try it on. The back especially is to die for! Like a dress you would wear to the Oscars! This is a very high quality turquoise lycra covered with turquoise fringe. No missing fringe that I saw. The edges have Legend's basket style pattern of beads and stones and there are some giant high quality stones she added in the center. She added some pieces to give herself more boob support which could be removed. These are the two center stones in the cleavage and the back where she sacrificed the headband. She also sewed the center in a little for more belly coverage. This can all be left as is or opened up for a a sexy backless look. Comes from pet free smoke free home. Hem is not embellished so easy to hem up. Hem is also clean. Slit in center front and center back.

Set includes: Dress, two gloves, headband, sequin trimmed chiffon veil

Size: 53 inches from top of bust to floor. 6.5Hx7Vx7Diag 34 with any underbust since it is backless and head band can be tightened or let out.

Disclaimers:
-There are a few snags in the lycra around the bust, unnoticeable when performing
- Discoloration and fading on the sequins, still shiny but some have darkened under the arms

2.Blue and Gold Egyptian High End $300 plus paypal fees and shipping

This dress is very sexy and very unique. She is not sure who she got this from, since she was in Cairo at the time, but it is obvious this is a high end dress. The neck stap had a sliding elastic so you can tighten or loosen very easily without moving hooks and it will stay put while dancing. The center has blue mesh with left hip going down to leg. There is a little arch of sequins you can hide your thong in with a safety pin so you don't have to worry about undies. There are three slits and embellished chiffon gores between each slit. The slits are one for each leg and one for the back for easy movement and gorgeous spinning. Hem is unembellished and clean, easily heamable. No missing fringe.

Size: 55 inches from top of bust to floor, not including neck strap. 6.5Hx6Vx8Diag 34 underbust

Gold beads are very dark, still very veryshiny. I can't tell if they are faded or supposed to be this way, she can't remember.
One missing colored stone on bust

3 White Johara Needs TLC $100 plus paypal fees and shipping

This is a very pretty dress and looks great on stage but the bust needs some work. I am not sure what happened but there is significant bead loss on the right bust towards the arm pit and center of left bust and the material is a little damaged in these areas. It isn't that noticeable on stage but some work does need to be done. Besides that the material is great and still very white, no missing stones or fringe that I noticed. The dress has a cute triangular design between the solid and sheer materials which is very sexy and flattering. I love how low the hip goes, you need low undies for this one! Note for taller gals interested, the sleeve might be too short, as you can see on Model A.

SOLD! 4 Vintage Alba $500 plus paypal fees and shipping

I fell in love with this dress. She purchased this from Madame Alba herself when she was still alive. It is a gorgeous 70s feeling fringe monster dress. Black great qaulity lycra dress with dark fushcia sequins forming geometric patterns all over the dress. Heavy duty zippers for the sleeves and dress. Fringe is super long with palletes. Sequined geometric patterns are behind all of the fringe so you can remove some or replace with shorter and still have a full costume feel. She barely wore this and it is in amazing condition. Just needs a vintage loving home. Note: A regular street bra should probably be worn with this, we are both sans bra.

Size: This is hard to say S-L I would say. There is a lot of stretch and it would be easy to take in for my size or smaller. 54 inches from top of bust to floor.

- Gorgeous, some fading on sequins but only when super close and looking for something wrong

Unfortunately, there has been a tragedy in my friend's family so she has left to go take care of it. I can still answer questions and put costumes on hold for anyone interested, but they can not be shipped till she returns. I do have a stupid question what do you mean by "decadent", i see that word from time to time on the swapmeet and i just can't get what it stands for. In french, we have this word too, but it probably doesn't have the same meaning and google translator is not helpful here...

No trades at the moment, and not decadent as in 19th century literature but we use it as in indulgent, I was just doing it for alliteration
