Hi there, the belt length is 35" total end to end with one side sewn together (1" overlap) as is with the blue underskirt attached. But originally it was two pieces, each 18" long, with only the lime green chiffon back and front panels attached.

Here are two other pics of me in the costume. Unfortunately neither are full frontal shots:

Love the purple 2 piece, but would need to add quite a bit in the waist. Any chance there's a good spot for that? Or 2 smaller panels?

My low hips are 38" and the costume still fits me well. Someone else tried it on who has a low hip of 40" and it still fit well. Material is a thicker lycra stretch fabric. I don't think it's the sort of costume that would suit having a panel added.
