my student with the smallest hip could not come to class tonight. I held it at 34 upper and I would say that would be the smallest I would go on this. Any smaller and you be hooking in the middle of one of the medallions. I took a couple of pics. Hope that helps.

I don't think it would be too bulky. I don't think it looks bad at all.
