I have just received this set, and it is beyond gorgeous and in amazing condition. I fell in love with it immediately, but the skirt is too short for me! What was I thinking?

The set is made of luxurious royal blue velvet. The color is unbelievably rich. The mermaid skirt does not have any slits. It measures 33.5" in length, waist unstretched is approximately 25" and hips unstretched are about 31". It is very stretchy! I am asking $60 including shipping in the US. what the max stretch of the waist/upper hips and lower hips???

I have a royal blue skirt velvet skirt (may be L Rose or made from pattern), that I could trade with you if you need this color. I know the skirt I have is longer than this.

I just measured it and it looks like the waist stretches to 36" easily. The lower hip can go to about 39", and the skirt takes up some length when stretched. It is hard to tell how much, though. Actually it can stretch even more and not appear muffiny. I just has a friend with a 40" lower hip try it on and it looked fine.

I'd be happy to see some pics of the one that you have.
