This thread Music ID please!! that was posted this morning is coming up with a tab called "M" in IE9. Everything else seems to be putting the correct title in the tab.

ETA: Problem has evolved since posting. This thread http://www.bhuz.com/rest-belly-dance...eil-trick.html started out with the tab "Ne" but upon refresh, corrected itself. The first time I reloaded the music ID thread after posting this, it had advanced to a tab labeled "Mu." After the fifth refresh, it finally has the correct title. Nevermind?

If it's ok now, there's no problem. You were probably looking at it just as the site was being repopulated.

My inbox isn't working properly. I cannot receive any PM's. I can send them, just not receive them.
Not sure if I have something set improperly?
Maybe others are experiencing this, too?

Fixed!

I seem to be able to receive and send pm's but I'm no longer getting an email notification that there's something new in my inbox

My e-mail notifications have stopped, too.

Here is a minor bhug:

If you go to the main forum page and then to "new posts" a little pull down menu appears where you can choose to include/exclude shopping. Like!

However, once you choose an option and go to the new posts, the "new posts" button no longer has those options; there is just the new posts button and hitting that again will mix the shopping and non-shopping. So for example, if I've been reading new posts (shopping excluded) for a while and want to refresh (again with shopping excluded), I can't without going back to the forum page and rechoosing.

Likewise, if I want to first read non-shopping, and then look at the shopping, I can't without the extra steps. my home computer is pretty slow, so each step takes a while to load up.

Does that make sense? Is this a bhug or intentional? Sorry if this has been covered in a previous thread.

It's not a bhug, it's an oversight on my part. I should be able to get this fixed within a week or two. Thanks for bringing it up.

I noticed a lot of posts (maybe older ones, not sure) don't have signatures, some (new ones at least) do - ? I know I should have one, but it's on some posts, not others...

when i click on my profile it says page not found. it's been doing this for 2 days. no matter which page i try to click to it from. i can get into my inbox but not my profile.

Whenever I try to click onto my Likes Received, or on a notification that I've received a new Like, I get the following message:

The website encountered an error while retrieving http://www.bhuz.com/member.php?u=733&tab=likes_received. It may be down for maintenance or configured incorrectly.
Here are some suggestions:
Reload this web page later.
HTTP Error 500 (Internal Server Error): An unexpected condition was encountered while the server was attempting to fulfill the request.

This isn't a problem with the software, but I've noticed it seems like we've had an increase in new accounts that are posting fluff. I've clicked on a few unfamiliar names within the last week, all of whom had single-digit post totals, and whose posts were the sort of mindless small talk that anyone could make. In other words, these are new members who've offered no introduction, no clue as to why they're here, and they're posting the kinds of comments that someone who didn't belong on the site would write if they were trying to ingratiate themselves in order to pass themselves off as legitimate members. I haven't flagged any of them, because lots of people who do belong here are shy beginners or dance aficionados who might not have much to add, and there's nothing specifically inappropriate about saying, "That's a shame" or "Exercise really helps with weight loss" in a bunch of non-dance threads. Still, when someone is developing a habit of never posting anything that directly refers to belly dance, it's a little suspicious. (See #23-24, and the rest of those members' posts here Making green tea less bitter? for an example of this. Legit? Creepy? Spammy? The peculiar English seems to point to the idea that one person is behind both of these accounts.)

I have banned the members you pointed out. Thanks for letting me know! They were definitely spammers. Maybe they are practicing their English!
Unfortunately, message boards are very prone to spammers and we have to exercise constant vigilance to keep the board neat and tidy.

If a thread hits some perfect-storm combination of OP name length and page numbers and it has a cloud tag and/or attachments, when viewing the title on the New Posts search results, the icons for the cloud tag/attachments will sometimes ride on top of the page numbers, so that you can't click directly to the later pages. This is happening today with page 3 of the May WAYWO thread. I don't think this is a new problem, but it's not terribly common.

Not sure what you mean by OP name length. Please elaborate.
Probably the only way I can fix this is to shorten the length. So, let me know the URL of the titles (if that is what you are referring to) and I can shorten them.
