Thread: Vegas April 21-23?

Anybody I could see dancing in Vegas April 21-23? ..g.: Does Marrakesh have dancers every night of the week? I looked at the website, but it didn't say.

I've never been to Vegas before, I'm super excited. This is prompted by my and my husband being big Star Trek geeks but I also want to see the desert, Zumanity, etc...

Marrakech has dancers every night...Aradia is there...4 nights? I think?

Chandelier's is another good one, they've got great food, and hookah, and one of our lovely local dancers, Britt, performs there.

Keep us posted, we always love to party!

Yes, Marrakech has dancers nightly and is close to the strip. I really love Chandelier's but it's quite a distance from the strip, so if you are renting a car it's no big deal, but I wouldn't taxi there.

Zumanity is a great show. I enjoyed it, although explaining the billboards to my 7 year old has been a challenge...hahahaha.

Hope you enjoy yourself here. It's great. If you want a night out with the bellydancers, just pick a night and let us know. We'll try to drum up a crowd. it's generally not hard to find folks to join us for a night of cocktails.

Oh, excellent! I think we're doing Zumanity Wednesday night, so it will probably be Monday or Tuesday. I think we're going to have to play it by ear, depending on how our flights go. I'll be the woman with the long red hair who looks like the woman in my profile pic My husband's got shoulder length blondeish-brownish hair.

How do you all handle tipping? Just so I know ..g.:

edited to add: I'll check with my husband though and see if we can commit to one night or another, so I can let the rest of you know--it would be great to meet the Las Vegas crowd!

That sounds great, we get tips thrown as well as placed in the side of our belt, either way is fine, it's a very family oriented restaurant and show, rarely do we have issues, we have a heavy tourist business, so many Americans, only the occassional Arabic table.

Hey, we're planning to go to Marrakesh on Tuesday April 22, if anyone else is out on the town that night ..g.:

I'm sure we can get some girls together to join you for dinner, Yasmin and Samira are always up to go out, hey Samira, if you come I'll do my veil fans so you can see this time!!!! Some of the girls from my dance company will probably be up for hanging out as well!

It was so great seeing you at Marrakech, I can always spot a dancer..g.: You danced beautifully as well!!! Hope you had a great time in Vegas with the Star Trek clan!!

Sorry I didn't confirm details sooner to the date--we didn't have a computer with us in Vegas, and the weekend before I danced my feet off and choreographied my brain out at a two-day Morocco and Tarik workshop. We loved Vegas so much though that I'm sure we'll be back another time!

And for the record, Marrakech had by far the best food of anywhere we ate, not to mention the best music! ..g.:
