Thread: Farha Tour in Sydney Nov 2008

I am debating whether I can go to this one, but it is something that I've been thinking about. PLUS I have a friend (non-dancer . . . work colleague) who is living in Adelaide that I haven't seen in 10 years!!! I have lots of frequent flier miles I've been saving up so I know I got the airfare covered.

Hehe, I reviewed the Farha Tour DVDs for Gilded Serpent, so I am very familiar with what they will be doing. Part of the lure is going back to Sydney, meet Amera (and whoever else wants to meet up) and then over to Adelaide to visit my friend . . . PLUS I get to check out some great dancing while I am there. I am still trying to decide.

I'll be there too! At this stage, I'm just booked for the weekend, because of the high cost of the workshops, plus Sydney accomodation is so darned expensive. But I can't resist the opportunity. Should we wear Bhuz badges to recognise each other? I think that might be un-Australian, so perhaps a more subtle code is in order - like a sequinned Anzac poppy!

I've signed up for the Arabic singing workshop. Any other takers?

There are a lot of options for classes but I was thinking if I go that I should take something I won't normally have the opportunity to do in the States . . . And considering the rate of exchange right now, everything seems very expensive. Well, Texas is cheaper than some places in the East/West coasts, so all things must be considered.
