Miramar is hosting Shareen el Safy July 19 & 20.

Who's going?

I'm very interested in this. I've never taken a workshop from Shareen el Safy before, so it's a good opportunity. Plus, Miramar is such a sweetheart!

I'm really, really trying to make this one work. I had booked her NYC workshops a couple of months ago and had to cancel at the last minute, so this is a must-do for me! I can't recommend Shareen enough, truly.

Wow, I would love to study with Shareen. There was supposed to be a Dalia Carella workshop in MD during that time... Hafta see if that's still on. If not, maybe I'll see both of you in VA!

I won't be at Raqia, but I'm 95% sure I'll be at Shareen. I wish I could go to all of them!!!! When I look back at this year, I've already gone to more than usual. And I would love to make it to FL for Orit.

It will be great to meet in person, Zana, and to see you again, Latifa!

Oh, No!!! Shareen in VA!! Should I go??? The workshops offered look really good too . . . . hmmmmmmm, it is going to be a tight squeeze! Going to check my schedule now.

Now that it's two weeks away, I'm checking in to see who's going. I'm 99% sure I'll be there.

Zana, I think I saw your name in the line-up for the show. Is that correct? Now I have to go!

That is correct, and I would love to see you there! I really hope you can make it. If you spot me before I spot you, please come up and say hey!

I haven't seen a published lineup with me in it -- where did you see it?

The timing is not the greatest: there's a really big studio event the night before and a crazy-mad rehearsal schedule leading up to it. So I may not quite make it to the first workshop on time, but I very much hope to. Having Shareen out here is such a rare treat that I don't want to miss a minute!

Anybody else in?

I am so jealous. Wish I could go to Shareen and Orit, but it looks like both are out because of work issues. Big project coming up and I've been given my orders--no more time off for a while! Wish there were workshop dvds for all the different workshops I have to miss, but other than Little Egypt it seems not many do so.

So please, info on what you learned!!!

It was a great workshop, with the added bonus of getting to not only meet Sandra (SandraDances) and Suzana (Zana) in person, but also see them both dance in the show Saturday night! All of you Bhuzzers would have been so proud of them - they were both lovely and delightful to watch. We also had a chance to have lunch together yesterday. So fun!

That was fun -- let's do it again! Really good workshop, really great company. Thanks very much for the kind words about my performance, and thanks especially for your warm and friendly pre-show support. And for sharing your cookie.

Sandra did a beautiful, elegant piece in a yummy apple-green-and-black costume. (Nice call on that one, Latifa!) Ms. Kiyaana neglected to mention that we got to enjoy her dancing as well -- when Shareen pulls you up to dance, you get yourself up there and dance! Hope to see more of her loveliness and grace at the earliest opportunity.

..l;, Thanks. Yeah, if you're sitting in the front at a Shareen El Safy show, be prepared to be pulled up to dance! I was so glad I knew the song.
