Thread: Milwaukee Aug 2-6?

Anything belly dance-ish going on in Milwaukee Aug 2-6? Anyone want to meet up? Galatea?

There's a BD show at the Wisconsin State Fair most of those days - three shows daily at 11am, 12pm and 1pm. I think there's a couple of evening shows as well, but I'm not sure what nights they are. I'm dancing all three shows on Wednesday 08/06, if you want to come by.

There would also be dancing at Casablanca in Milwaukee on Friday the 2nd - maybe we could meet up for that? There's an 8:30 and 10:00pm show. I have a gig Saturday night, and teach most evenings, but if you'll be available during the day we could totally hook up.

Great! Now that I've spouted off though, I really don't have an idea what kind of free time I'll have. I'll be attending a big ecology meeting during the day, so evenings would be my main free time. The Casablanca sounds good.

I also have no clue how big Milwaukee is or where I'll be relative to anything else.

It's no NYC or Chicago, but it's pretty good sized. Do you know where you'll be staying yet? That could give me an idea where you'll be around. Casablanca is in the trendy Brady Street area, very near downtown.
