I thought I couldn't manage the trip, but this week some things changed: I sold a costume and took some extra work, and airfares came down a bit, so I'm going for it. Lauren graciously waited for me to figure all this out rather than dumping me for a more decisive potential roommate. We may have to survive on granola bars for the four days, but we'll be there! Frugal party in our room, anyone?

I know it's a difficult time for you to get away, but I really, really hope you can make it. I'd hate to be so nearby (relatively speaking) and not get to meet you!

If you do come and it's not too much trouble, please bring "our" Abla -- I'd love to see it on you and admire your handiwork. I never quite had the bod for it, but I bet it's really beautiful on you.

Still working on the hubby. Maybe Andrea will let me pay for one day worth of Orit or even one Orit workshop (isn't she doing baladi progression on Sunday) and I could do one night show and one workshop. I'll have to work ont he husband more and beg Andrea. You're right. I cant be that close (well, 250 miles close) and not see you and Lauren and everyone else!

And yes, I would bring "ourAbla" and maybe you could bring a dress of a certain color that I could exchange for paper of the same color.

It's a BUSY weekend for dancing, isn't it? My other option was JtE 1 with Sahra in Phila., sponsored by Najia, but fortunately it looks as if they're adding another date for that later in the year.

Kiyaana, how cool that you'll be there! I believe Shadiyah is making the trip, and I'm trying to recruit some other DC-area friends, too, so let me know if you don't find a roomie through Bhuz.
