Thread: Traveling to Cleveland

I am traveling to Cleaveland OH tomorrow and will be there at least a week. I would love to find a friendly bellydance face there! Whats happening there?

I have a friend in Cleveland on tribe, but tribe is down! And of course I don't have her "real" email address.

She showed me a photo of this great statue of St. Michael that's in Cleveland... I want to see it someday and study it in the stillness (it's in a cemetery) I envy you getting to go there. I hope somebody who lives there or near there will chime in and have some good advice on where to go, what to do... it's a really cool town.

Now, if you come through Oklahoma City, I'd be glad to show you around.

Hi Sarah! There are a few places where you can find belly dancing on the weekends:
Saturdays at Kan Zaman which has two locations, both on W. 25th St. about three blocks apart. "Old" KZ is just a few doors down from the West Side Market and dancing usually happens around 10:30 - 11:00. "New" KZ is by Lutheran Hospital and dancing is later, around midnight.
Also on Saturdays at Leyalena 24101 Lorain Rd North Olmsted phone 440.779.1770.
And Sundays at the Mercury Lounge downtown Cleveland.

On Saturday the troupe I'm in is dancing at a fundraiser for the Cleveland Public Theater and some of us will probably head to "New" Kan Zaman afterward!
