It's time for the *BIG ANNOUNCEMENT*...whoo hoo!

We are exceptionally delighted to announce that September 9-12, 2010, the Las Vegas Bellydance Intensive & Festival will take place in our new home, the historic FLAMINGO Hotel & Casino!

Bugsy Siegel's desert dream, The Flamingo, has anchored the Las Vegas Strip since they started rolling dice in 1946. This self-contained casino and resort offers everything an adventurous belly dancer could want--delicious restaurants, an amazing pool, and ample space for our classes & shopping.

Set on the famous four corners of Las Vegas Boulevard and Flamingo Road, this hotel combines heart-pounding Las Vegas excitement with hospitality and service that's second to none. We couldn't be happier with our new home!

Additionally, we have a new group of magnificent artists who will be tantalizing us with their performances and teaching us their secrets. We are pleased to present the 2010 Headliners:

Registration for the 2010 event will open at the event with a special price for 2009 attendees. Stop by the registration table on your way to watch the festival, attend classes, or shop to sign up for next year's event at the lowest possible price. On site registration will be $395 or 12 payments of $34 for the 4-day package. This includes 24 hours of classes, a ticket to the Friday show, a ticket to the Saturday show, and a thank you gift.

Additionally, those who register for the 2010 event on site before the Sunday lunch will be entered into a special raffle to win free Flamingo merchandise!

Regular online registration for the 2010 event will open September 15th, with a slightly higher price.

We are excited to see our homegrown event expand each year and attract hundreds of dancers into our Vegas community. We are also excited to be able to feature so many professionals instructors & performers. Thanks for supporting this event and allowing us to promote the Las Vegas community to the broader world of belly dance. We are looking forward to this year, and all future years.

I can't believe the Vegas Intensive is this week!! Whoohoo!! Here are a few last minute notes:

1) Online registrations are now closed! Thank you Danya for all your hard work
and maintenance.

2) We will be accepting registrations at Place Station for classes that still
have availability.

3) After much discussion with my Team of Directors, I've decided that we are not
raising our show ticket prices to $35. We set those prices a year ago long
before the current economic climate. We are still raising the price, but only a
small amount. (However, bundle pricing is no longer available).

Show Tickets will be available at the door for $30.

4) I am 95% positive that we will have an operating credit card machine at the
event, so you can use your credit/debit cards to make purchases for classes,
show tickets, or 2010 Event Registration. As always, cash and checks are
acceptable too.

5) Remember that the Festival & the Shopping are FREE OF CHARGE. So please come
and enjoy the event, even if you haven't been able to afford tickets or classes.

Your feedback is very important to us as we strive to improve the Las Vegas Bellydance Intensive & Festival. If you have a few moments, we would really appreciate your participation in our online survey. This is completely private and we will not be able to track who says what...so please speak up and let us know the good, the bad, and the ugly. Your suggestions are useful and have helped us make many improvements over the year.

Additionally, as far as the survey structure...we've done our best to implement "skip logic" so that your experience taking the survey is as quick as possible. There are many questions that are asked simply to determine whether or not you even need to see the next set of questions. For example, if you reply that you did not attend any Thursday activities, the survey will automatically skip all Thursday related questions.
