Thread: Who's gonna be at CoS?

Who's coming to and/or dancing at Carnival of Stars next weekend (11/8, 11/9)? I'm dancing on Sunday, anyone else?

I'll be there taking classes all day Saturday, not dancing though.

If we can actually be home in time to pull it together, John and I will do an unrehearsed improv version of Canary Lake -- the yellow bird Eman and his cat costume ...... late on Sunday ...... but it will be messy, not polished!..l;,

I am checking flights...but would need o know what is the closest airport and hotel to the event!

Any Bhuzzers who are coming to COS, come by our booth and pick out a free bindi ....... just say "Bhzzzzzzzzzzzz......!"

And although I'm not a costume vender, this year I'm bringing a ton of my own costumes to sell ..............g.:

Hmmmmmm.....I think there is information on the Ghawazee.com site about hotels in the area ......... I wish you could stay with us! But we are really living 'cave-like', still in the back of our office/store front, like gypsies! If there was a little extra room, we could take out a few costumes from those plastic containers and put in a blankie and pillow and pop you in there! ..l;,

Tanya, the closest airport would be Oakland. Not sure about hotels but will check it out.

This is the first year I am not dancing at CoS! I have a memorial service to go to Saturday, sadly, but am going to try to head over Sunday to hang out and check out some dancing.

I'm painfully short on bindis, so could use some! But, dumb question here, how do I recognize your booth? What's it called? Or do I just go around the floor going "Bhzzzzzzzzz" until someone hands me a bindi? ..l;,..l;,

Ok..I will be there...I needed to fly to SFO...but it is ok...the tickets were wayyyyyy cheaper. I will be there Sat. afternoon and some of Sunday!

You can recognize us by the panel of Austrian crystals -- you know, the kind you hang in windows or cars and blind people driving behind you? That's John's stuff, we are sharing space -- crystals and jewelry, and BINDIS, BINDIS, BINDIS, ....... as well as a truckload of my own costumes this year Or ask Latifa or Pepper -- I don't exactly keep a low profile!..l;,
