Thread: Rakkasah West!

So I just got a dance spot on Saturday in the Exhibition Hall... with Rajab Juma... anyone else dancing/going?

I am going to try to make it up for the workshops the week before the fest. Unfortunately, I have to be in school the actual weekend of the festival, so I am sending good thoughts to everyone who is dancing!

I'm in on Sunday at 11:16 am in the other Hall (McCormick?).

Sunday, 5:34, McCormick Hall with Rajab -- thanks, Jewels!!! I thought call-in was in 2 weeks, almost missed it........

Will be in the McCormick Hall on Sunday - 1-ish with Al Azifoon :)

Hope to meet up with a few of you lovely ladies and gents!!

I'll be dancing with the Al Asaab troupe, but don't have the day and time yet.

I'm Sunday 6:45 PM in McCormick Hall. I was on the waiting list, but apparently, someone cancelled within hours of signing up, and I've got their spot. Lucky me! ..g.:

I was a big dork and called in THIS morning. Uh, Monday. whoops. So, maybe next year! ..cr.:

Oh, no!!! You should call about getting on the waiting list, I know several people were called on Sunday late evening and got a spot... you should come out anyways, it would be too much fun!

Can't wait...I think I have Ezma convinced to go too! We went out last night and had sooooooooooo much fun...you gotta come to Vegas too...she will be here for a weekend before Rak! PLEASE!!!!!

So who is getting to Rakkasah when? I need to book my ticket and don't know whether I should go Thursday or Friday?

Its my first year dancing, managed to snag a spot at the tail end of the event. 7:48pm in the Exhibition Hall. What I get for not paying attention and calling in on Monday. lol

I will be there, vending my shoes with Shiny Sparkly Things Sherri. It's been quite a few years since I have been. I am so excited!

Yay! I Booked my flight today!! Aazura and I will be there on Sat.

Helped Sherri with her booth last year. I'll can stop by and help cover for a few meals providing I can pull myself away from the dancing and merchandise.

Not gonna make it this year, unfortunately, so I just told Shukriyah to give my dance spot away. That's what I get for blowing my budget on a computer... ..cr.:
