Dark Cabaret Intensive - Sunday, May 17, 2009, Noon-4 PM

Funky, sassy, irreverent--Dark Cabaret belly dance combines belly dance with theatrical elements taken from cabaret musicals, vaudeville, traveling road shows and modern burlesque revues. In this 4-hour intensive you will learn:
• The history of Dark Cabaret
• Dark Cabaret dance tips, techniques and combos
• How to incorporate a Dark Cabaret attitude into your own dance style
• A complete Dark Cabaret choreography to the sassy song "Knock 3 Times" by Black Tape for a Blue Girl.

Additionally,
• Receive a written copy of the choreography
• Shop from Kara's large inventory of belly dance costumes and accessories from Dahlal Internationale, Inc.

Appropriate for men or women with at least one year of belly dance training.
