Thread: Viva Las Vegas!

Hi Everybody!

I am going back to my hometown of lovely Las Vegas for about a week or two. Since I will be in Vegas visiting my family, I was wondering if there will be any upcoming haflas or restaurant shows in the area? Also, I wanted to try and take a bellydance class too - any suggestions for teachers? Please feel free to share your recommendations….

Hi Andalee! When you you be back? Things change weekely around here...but "Marrakech" has dancing every night..."Almaza" ...off the strip, dancing and music on the weekends..."Ibo" an new Med/Turkish restaurant has dancers on the weekend...and "Mezza" and "Ali Baba" sometimes too...
I am not sure when the next Hafla is...I am sure there will be more posts to come. ...I will send you my phone in a pm...maybe I can see ya!

Welcome home!! I have a Wed 'topic' class that I am doing in the month of Feb. Our next class is Wed the 18th, it's shimmy drills, technique and drum solo work, the last class is on the 25th and it's veil work and the art of dancing gracefully. I'm at Marrakech Mon, Tues, Thurs and Sat, when I'm not there members of my dance company are performing, I will be in Biloxi, MS performing at the Hardrock on the 21st, so I won't be in town that weekend!! Look forward to hearing from you!!
