I'm here now! I was competing in the Egyptian category, but I didn't make it, there were 19 other contestants, very good dancer all of them. Maybe I'll come again next year

Hi all did not make it but it was great experiance and i will be looking for another one to enter soon. To bad i did not know you all were going ahead of time, so we could have got to know each other better but toria you were 18 right i was 19. I hope to see you all at another comp. I live in san diego so if you ever want to do the one there in sept let me know .

Yeah we were last! but your costume was hot!, are you going to watch the finals at 7:30? I'll be there

Thank you i loved your costumes as well, where did you get it i really liked the rhinestones. I had to drive back home cause my baby is one and he has not spent the night with out us. let me know how it went!

Yes that was me!! You were the nursing mom! I didn't put the name and the postcard and the Bhuzzer together until you were onstage. Hi!! :)

Toria you were lovely too - it was nice to meet you in real life!

I didn't make it to the finals but got blushing (seriously!) feedback from friends and judges. There were some really gorgeous dancers both days. Here are some of the winners:

Universal (4,4 6/8, 9/8 Rhythms required, plus zills and veil)

Winner: Dilek of San Diego
1st Runner up: Sabrina of San Diego
(Go Bhuzzers!)
2nd Runner up: Ruby (is this the same Ruby that danced at Orit's in
Orlando?? Can someone confirm that she's Ruby from Oregon? Lovely, lovely!)
3rd Runner up: Andalee of California

Egyptian:

Winner: Maryam of Mexico
1st Runner: Shereen
2nd Runner up: Haifa Wahab
3rd: Vilma

And Belly Soul Fire -- who also danced in Orlando I think -- won troupe category.

It was nice to kind of meet you as well hopefully we will do more comps in the future and get to meet again. It was my first one. I am excited to get the feed back as well. I was 19 last so i did not get to see anyone. boo hoo. but everyone was lovely!

That was my first comp too and it was really a hoot! I was thinking about going to Racks Divine in Mexico with Leila of Cairo and Shazadi. Maybe I'll see ya there?

I did not mean we were # 18 and #19 but that is what number we went out on the stage! if anyone read it wrong!

I live two min's from TJ mexico if you know someone from there that is good but i personally would not go i know to many people who have had major problems they are having right know "SCARY" but i would like to see leila as well. i'll wait till she comes to the US. if you go I know you will do well you have a great smile and personality and very cute and bubbly!
