uh, I just realized this isn't the one inside the Americana. I thought Mohamed Salem band moved there after Wahib's cut them loose. Hmmm...glad I actually looked at the site! I'll still be there, of course! :)

So, does anyone know the name of the (Armenian?) restaurant that is in the Americana?

Sorry I missed dinner, but by the time my friends show got out I was totally knackered and jsut wanted to chill.

Y'all made the right choice going to Phoenicia. Nice to see you again, Jenna. We are soooo lucky to have Mohammed so near to us. cynthia, canece, la shonda and I were regulars at wahibs and now regulars at Phoenicia.

I just got some photos from my set as a gift from one of my classmates. I paired the costume with the veil because I thought it would pop, but man, the combo was yummy!

I'll get them into my photo album and link. . .

David - are you coming up for the Queen Mary thingy? I won't be there because I will be in school that weekend, but I might be able to make for a late dinner if someone can find a great restaurant!

We got a room, so me and the boys are spending the night on the Queen Mary. I'll be there late, and there'e all kinds of restaurants on the pier across the way. Bubba Gump Shrimp, PF Chang's, Yardhouse, even Chili's (in case we spend too much on costumes at the festival). ;)

Hi! Finally replying.
I had a great time at Phoenicia!!! It was great to see you again Tracy. Thank you to Sabrina & Nasila for sharing their table with me and my dancers. (Nasila, I didn't get a chance to explain how we did the bill before we left as you were dancing up a storm ;-). I hope it made sense the amount that was left?!)

Keeth & I will be coming down for Cairo Caravan. Maybe a couple of our dancers joining us (the teens have graduation on Sat). Not sure if we will stay both days as we leave a few days later for Egypt and will have a lot to prepare for.

I don't know the Middle Eastern Restaurant situation as well down in Long Beach as well as I know L.A. (although it is my home turf). I remember being taken to the Babouch Restaurant a few times by my guardian who was a bellydancer down there in the 70's/80's. That might be fun to go to for nostaligic-sake. I'll look into who is dancing there these days and if there is live music? Anyone interested? Any other choices?
