Thread: Faten workshop with live music in Arlington, VA this weekend

Faten's workshops are always worthwhile, but to me the live band ones are the best of the best. I plan to be there, assuming the day job doesn't interfere. Anybody else coming?

Don't miss this unique opportunity to learn to dance with Live Music! Students will experience the amazing energy that fills the studio when dancers and musicians collaborate. Faten will lead oriental and folkloric combinations and choreographies set to classical Egyptian and original compositions of the talented keyboard artist, Hicham El Anmari and master drummer, Mocine. The workshop includes an opportunity for students to practice their improvisational techniques with the musicians with feedback on the dancer's presentation by Faten. This 3 hour workshop is sure to get your heart pumping, improve your endurance and take your dance and ear for Arabic music to new levels. Technique and combinations are geared towards students with a minimum of 6 months dance experience. Space is limited.
