Thread: Any place to see dancers in Knoxville, TN?

I'll be in Knoxville for a few days, and would like to see some dancers, or check out any Arabic restaurants/clubs!

Don't know when you'll be there, but next Sat. is Raks Knoxvillia 2. It's a Tribal/Tribal-esqe Dance event, but it should be fun!

Sonja dances at Cairo Cafe- The Mirage on Gay street in Knoxville. I know there are some other places as well but Sonja would know better.

There's really no other restaurant that has dancers besides Mirage (Cairo Cafe). I do the schedule there, I just sent you a pm. I'd love to meet you!

I may also be going to Knoxville in a few weeks. Can someone PM me with the "lay of the land," i.e, info about what sort of options are out there for seeing performances or working with teachers (drop-in classes or private lessons)? I know I will not be there during either Raks Knoxvillia or the Sharif workshop, but the rest of my schedule isn't set. Thanks!
