    Baltimore: ReOrient - Artistic Perceptions of the Middle East

    I'm so excited about this upcoming show that I have to spread the word. I hope that many of our area bhuzzers can come be a part of it. There are dancers performing from New York to DC including several bhuz members and there will be music and workshops all in Baltimore, MD.

    It should be an extraordinary and unique spectacle. Each of the performers will be inspired by a work of visual art, literature or poetry and they will use that inspiration to present a work of dance art.

    Here are the details:

    Belly Dance Baltimore - ReOrient - June 13-14, 2009 7pm at the Patterson in Baltimore, Maryland

    Artistic Perceptions of the Middle East

    Dancers and musicians will be creating pieces inspired by art, literature, or poetry from the Middle East.

    I have to gush: I drove all the way from Pittsburgh for the Saturday workshops, and it was AWESOME!!!!

    Wish I could come for the Sunday events, especially the show. Bhuzzers - please go and share afterwards!

    The show was AMAZING. I'm so happy I took the 3 hour drive to see it. I'm also exhausted from the 3 hours home, but it was totally worth it. Thank you Shems, Ariel and Nina Amaya for putting on this wonderful production!
