Aradia of Las Vegas will be the featured instructor at Habeeba's Columbus on October 17 & 18 2009! Workshop will cover the same topics Saturday & Sunday. Registration form now available online! Space is limited, so register early to ensure a place on your preferred workshop day.

We will also be having a special Halloween hafla Friday Oct 16th to kick off the weekend! Come in costume and get your shimmy on! If you would like to perform at the hafla please email habeebascolumbus@yahoo.com.

Aradia is amazing. When we visited Vegas frequently I would take a lesson with her since I dont gamble =). I'm so glad she will be here in Ohio.

Oh nooooooo! The 17th is my husband's birthday ...and he's turning 40 so it's not just a regular run-of-the-mill birthday... I wonder if I could convince him what he really needs is to go to a fabulous workshop with me? What better way to celebrate his 40th? ..l;,

I have an idea.... get some of his guy friends together to do some fun guy stuff during the day, you can "stay out of his hair" at the workshop with us and then take him to dinner and then to the show that night and plan some special QT for afterwards.

I'm planning to take him to Niagara Falls for the weekend, but I seriously considered canceling - isn't that terrible? My big idea was to have my students perform the awesome drum solo that Aradia taught in at the LVBDI last year, so I'm hoping some or all of them will go to the workshop and see if they can get a spot in the show. I just can't believe she's doing a workshop so close to Cleveland and I have to miss it! Waaaaaa! ..cr.:

Yes, Drum Solo and Shimmy drills, and the 2nd half is Oriental Combinations with an emphasis on traveling steps!!

i've always wished I could take Aradia's classes, but i knew i would not get to travel out west and now she'll be one state away!!!!... i really don't want to miss this opportunity!

Don't worry hun..g.: Registration just opened like yesterday. Carissa gives us the early bird warnings ..l;, You can look it up on facebook, download the form (fill it in on your computer and then send it in as an email attachment). That is what I just did today. Of course i have to send the $$ snail mail but at least they know I am coming and to save me a seat ..g.:

You can also call the studio at 614-486-3991 and pay by phone. They will put your payment, name and contact info on a registration form for you to finish filling out before the workshop.

i believe i'm coming with leyla soleil and cassandra al warda to the workshop. sounds like fun

So who will be joining us in Ohio? It's right around the corner, will the leaves be changing around that time? We don't have the seasons in Vegas, so I don't get to see all the pretty leaves unless I'm booked somewhere where things actually grow!!..l;,

Yes! A few leaves have just begun to change and will be in full color when you arrive! Bring a jacket & jeans will be a bit cool =)
