Thread: Diana Tarkhan- Homer, NY

Anyone else going to Diana Tarkhan's workshop hosted by Donia, in Homer, NY? I'll be there both days and performing in the show. Can't wait!

Homer is WAY far away from Connecticut, but I loved the Manhattan workshop so much that I'n going back for the master class tomorrow night! You're gonna love it ..g.:

I'm not sure what the overall theme of the Homer workshop is, but in NYC, we focused all of our efforts on learning an Egyptian Oriental choreography. It was 5 hours long, fast-paced and pretty advanced - the choreo opened with some flashy footwork and insane directional changes before finally getting juicy!

Diana's style was so inspiring, though. Very energetic, elegant and perfect. Diana was a total sweetheart, but I'd advise that you eat your Wheaties that day! It was a great, much needed challenge.

Thanks--sounds very similar to what she'll be doing in Homer. One hour of technique each day, a panel discussion each day, and then five hours of choreo each day--gulp.
