Thread: Milwaukee Wisconsin this weekend!!

OK Ladies,
Who from bhuz will be joining me in Milwaukee? This is my first time, so I'm looking forward to meeting you all there!! We are going to have a great time!!..g.:
(And hopefully warm weather???)

I will be at both workshops and performing in the show. My student troupe is performing as well and most of them are taking one or both workshops. We are so excited!!!!!

I am there, too (workshops & show:))!

I'll be there in class! (I'll be the one in the back constantly hanging forward to ease her lower back. Ow.)

I will be there! Both workshops and I'm in Galatea's troupe. Woohoo! And I believe it's supposed to be pretty nice weather.. like 68-70. Which for here is great. :)

Count me in for both workshops and a show performance! Can't wait!

Had a great time. Aradia, I loved your "twist" on the grapevine. :-D Nice to meet you, kelsnasim... thank you to both you and laura 2 for including me in your lunch party, even if I had no chance of EVER finishing that giant club sandwich.

And Aradia, beautiful show performances! That drum solo is one I've seen several interpretations of, but yours was by far my favorite -- much more variety and subtlety. Loved it!

Aradia's combination workshop was the best one of it's type that I've ever been too, because she actually taught combinations (hella awesome ones too!). Most of the combination workshops I've been to, the instructor actually teaches a choreo or mini-choreo (which of course is made up of combinations). But Aradia's was everything I've ever wanted out of this workshop topic - a variety of wonderful, versatile combinations with the inspirations explained and plenty of variations suggested.

The show was just so wonderful, and it was great hanging out with my Bhuz peeps. My student troupe did awesome and I don't think my shabbi came out half bad (only the video will prove that theory, I guess). And, I came home with an insanely gorgeous and unusual white/black/red costume, a Marta the Legend gypsy/latin showstopper purchased from Magda.

Speaking of Magda, I can't thank her enough for helping out one of my troupe members. The poor girl forgot her costume at home, and Magda generously lent her a lovely skirt and top to wear so she didn't have to miss out on performing. She's such a gem!

That looked awesome on you! The color combo and the pattern was gorgeous!

Plus, I have to add that show was great last night! Everyone was marvelous! I watched a few dancers including Aradia mesmerized!

Wonderful workshop (even if my bad knee kept me seated for much of the afternoon), loved the combos, and thanks for the tip on the arabesque!! My students are struggling with it, but I think they'll all get it now thanks to you.

Aradia, you totally RAK!!! A Thousand Thanks for a great workshop and show!!! Your performances were absolutely spectacular! ...And I just adored hanging around you and learning all kinds of valuable tips both backstage pre-performance and sharing tips with us at intervals during the workshops!!! You're a font of info.--grateful to you for the explanation/description of different Lebanese vs. Egyptian movements. The combos were great, challenging, wonderfully explained and effectively learned (supplemented by your handouts:)), and YES, kicked my butt!!! You're an awesome instructor!

Shaia & Ms. Dreamdance (Denise:)), Thanks for bringing the Lovely Aradia to us and putting on a great production!
