Thread: Sydney, Australia - what's up?

Hello down under dancers,

I'll be in Sydney Aug. 8-12, is there anything special going on in your belly dance community? Do you have a recommendations for a good music or dance venue? The family we're meeting may have a lot planned for us but I am going to try & get in a little belly dance. I can't go 3 weeks without belly dance! Sydney is where we'll be staying the longest but we'll be 4 days( Aug. 3-6) near Rockhampton. We end up in Melbourne & Ballarat.

Keep an eye out on Belly Dance Oz » Events . There is a Bellydance Expo on August 16th but it's very tiny so you would not be missing out on much as it's mainly targetted to attrach locals in the suburb of Sutherland.
