Thread: For Bhuzzers going to Yasmina of Cairo in Edinburgh...I need a favour?

My friend and I going to the Yasmina of Cairo workshops in Edinburgh July 10-12. There is a Saiidi workshop that I'm SO looking forward to on the Saturday, but because my friend and I are both flying we cannot take our canes ..cr.:

If anyone is going and has a spare cane or two they can bring we'd be forever grateful!

Hmm... I've brought canes on a plane with me twice. It was a bamboo cane and I didn't pack it into my luggage. I'm not sure if they thought it was my walking cane, but nobody said anything to me about it

Maybe you can make a fabric case and bring it in as a part of your carry on luggage if you're not willing to take a chance

I see no problem with a cane going in hold luggage. It would only be a problem in the cabin. Can you get a card tube to put them in. After all people trave wth golf clubs and fishing equipment .
But if it is awkward to carry them I am sure Caroline will help you out.

Hi :) Thanks for the tips, but we are going Ryanair.... (for anyone who doesn't know Ryanair, be grateful lol) and we don't have a checked baggage allowance. I know Caroline will help, but she already does too much for us, so I thought I'd use my initiative this once ;)
