Every dancer in North Carolina ought to take his workshop. In fact, anybody within traveling distance should go. I've taken his workshops for the last two years and I plan on taking them again when he next comes to my area.

Mohamed Shahin is a really really good teacher. He breaks down choreography very well. I have taken an oriental workshop from him, a Melaya Leff workshop, and a Raks Assaya workshop from him. All were challenging and fun.

Re: Mohamed Shahin in North Carolina!
thanks, for the review, Amira.
Asim, sorry you can't make it!
We've already got registrations rolling in. I'm trying to keep it small so that it can be held in an actual dance studio, so it will probably be full fairly soon.

Re: Mohamed Shahin in North Carolina!
Yeah he is good! I just took from him at Ahlan wa Sahlan for the first time and was rather impressed with his choreography and teaching style. Hala is also hosting him in California at the end of August.
I do highly recommend taking from him.

Re: Mohamed Shahin in North Carolina!
Hey, Hannan.....What is Muwahahat?
This is what the original info says: has something changed?
Saturday, October 10
10am-3pm ~ Elegance and Flow. Learn graceful arm patterns, flowing footwork, and captivating combinations with a distinctly Oriental flavor. We'll enhance our elegance through the Andalusian style, which comes up frequently in modern Oriental music compositions.
Sunday, October 11
10am-3pm ~ Saidi!!! So spicy, sassy, and peppy, Saidi is an irresistible style seen frequently in bellydance shows. Learn the newest moves both with and without the Cane (assaya).
