Re: San Diego Comic Con?
*sighs* We had to cancel the trip to Comic Con this year because of wedding costs. We'll get out there some year...really.

Re: San Diego Comic Con?
I'll be working there from Thursday - Sunday, from 5-5, possibly longer. But when I get off work, I can attend the Con for free. I just have to change my clothes.

Sabrina, you got in? The Con's been totally sold out for al least a month.

This is the first year that I've heard of major media coverage. When did it become the hip thing for all the Hollywood types to go to? I'm not being snarky, it's just weird to think that Comic-Con went mainstream at some point.

Re: San Diego Comic Con?
yeah, i've got friends on the inside *muahahah* *looks lovingly @ her 4 day guest pass*
apparently hollywood charts major parties and happenings on trend boards then gets their pr out there, send celebs for face time etc. the cc has been growing in popularity for years and now can draw some major names for signings etc. it is weird that it went mainstream, but i think the sci-fi/horror genres are much larger market sectors at the moment with the tweens, so that may factor
ping me if you come out to the con. we can run around in bedlah and make the boys faint ;) congrats on the weddingLast edited by sabrinabellydancer; 07-22-2009 at 05:22 PM.

Re: San Diego Comic Con?
From what I've heard, the Con was sold out over four months ago for the four day passes. But of course, I get paid to work there, and the advantage of it, is if I want, I can attend after work.
