Thread: Germany in September

I will be in Germany Sept. 6-22. I'm really excited. I will be visiting family near Stuttgart but we are also going to Munich at least once during our stay. Any fabulous shows or events that I might be able to drop in on while I am there? Especially something that might introduce non-bellydancing but interested family members to the art?

funny, i posted a while ago, the same question, being in Germany 09/26 thu beginning of October, also in munich. No luck so far, not much going on.
I did found two middle eastern restaurants in Munich with Bellydancing, let me know if you are interested, then I find them again for you. Do you speak german?

I don't but I will be traveling with people who do. Sure, send Munich restaurant info but unless the dancers are really stellar, I will be disappointed. I've seen too much belly dancing, I've become picky. I was hoping for a big stage show or something like that.

You will be arriving in Germany 4 days after I leave!

I know, what you mean I was kind of hoping for the same thing, big sparkly show. to bad we will miss each other. I don't know if you are intersted, but there is a nice bellydance store, at least it was 3 years ago, in munich. I am desperate there is no store where I live in the USA. I think there is nothing going on bellydancing (only some restaurants) - no big shows at this time.

Would be nice to meet you too! If you want to travel to Stuttgart (it's only about two hours from Munich) let me know and we'll drink a cup of coffee
