I'm tied up working that weekend.. buggering poo. She is one of my favs.

Lisa - See you in Camelia. Can't wait to have a good old nerdy catch up with people. There is nothing like discussing the finer points of foot thongs with other people who are interested :-) Or to sit, in awe, at our lovely Khaled, with like minded souls.

I'm there - teaching this time around on the Sunday morning.

I'm going to one of Deirdre's and a drumming workshop. Can't make the hafla this time.:Asad:

I want to hear all about it!!! I am hoping that Camelia gets brought to Dallas in the future via our Egyptian connection. I did see her dancing at AWS in 2004 and really enjoyed her performance . . . but I've heard she's improved since that, lol!!!

ava is flying to us afterwards!!! very excited.

I'm taking workshops with Camelia and Ava, also Ozgen, I'm not a big fan of Turkish style but the 'Turkish version of Baladi' has piqued my curiosity.....g.:

Bum - I'd have liked to have seen Camellia dance again. Ah well, being halfway across the world will have to be my excitement for at least another 6 months!
