Hey Folks:

I am thrilled to announce that the SIUC Undergraduate Student Government and the SIUC International Programs and Services have just provided funding to our Karim event that we are passing along to the campus and dance community.

Specifically, Karim's workshop on Arabic Folkdances (Dabke and Tahteeb) will be offered at the amazing price of only $10 ..g.:(and only $5 if you happen to be an SIUC student..g.:).

Along with the completely free percussion performance by Karim that the SIUC school of Music is sponsoring on Nov. 8, this subsidized workshop makes this a weekend not to be missed!

I am also extending our early registration to Friday Oct 23. If you would like to pay online via paypal, please email me at nilebreezedance@gmail.com and I will send you an invoice.

(Anyone who has already paid full price for the Arabic Folkdances workshop will receive a refund for the overage.)

So now our event schedule is:

Saturday Nov. 7
10am to 12 noon: Arabic Folkdances (only $10)
1:30 to 3:30 pm: Musicality for belly dancers ($40; $35 early)
7:30 pm: Show featuring Karim and regional talent ($10 early; $12 at the door)

Sunday Nov. 8
10am to 12 noon: Finger Cymbals ($40; $35 early)
Arabic Drumming ($40; $35 early) bring a drum
7:30 pm Percussion Performance by Karim
