Thread: International Festival "Tarik El Nugoum". The competition and the Gala show will be accompanied live by the Egyptian orchestra of Nour!Moscow, Russia

The First International Trade Union of Teachers and Dancers of the Eastern Arts
proudly presents:

The 1-st International Festival "Tarik El Nugoum", which will take place in Moscow, May 12 - 16, 2010

For the first time in Russia the competition and most of the Gala show will be accompanied live
by the Egyptian orchestra of Nour!

Participants of the festival can take part in the competition to live music in the following nominations:

- classical Raqs Al Sharki (using well-known mejanse music and songs):
Professional dancers
Amateour dancers
- folklore (saidi, shamadan and other styles)

- improvisation (balady)


Besides the winners of the mentioned nominations the judges will choose the Queen of Raqs Al Sharki from those participants who would take part in all the 3 nominations (classical, folklore, improvisation)

The Queen of Raqs al Sharki would be chosen from either professional or amateur dancers.

Depending on how many participants there will be in each nomination organizers will plan the amount of rounds to compete in each nomination. (1-st round, semi final and finals)

The finals of all nominations will be held in a separate evening show on May, 13.Both competition and gala show will be professionally filmed.

Tickets for competition and finals are available through organizers of the festival.

Intensive Workshop Course of the Festival include classes with:

and also a class on Morocco dance by
Hind (France - Morocco)

a class on playing table by Sharif (Egypt)
