Two of our 2010 headliners are cover girls for the belly dance magazine, Zaghareet. Congratulations to Princess Farhana (Dec 2009) & Aradia of Las Vegas (Jan 2010).

I'm excited to announce that the new look for the 2010 Las Vegas Bellydance Intensive's website went live this morning. We've been working on this for awhile and are happy to have a site that more fully represents our move to the Flamingo Hotel & Casino this year.

Awww Thanks Yasmin!! It's been a long journey on this particular redesign, but it was worth all the time it took to build it. :)

Here's a friendly little note to announce that our online registration form will be available on Monday. If you'd like to dance at the 2010 Las Vegas Bellydance Intensive & Festival at the Flamingo Hotel & Casino, visit our website Monday for the details.

There is no cost to dance in the festival. In fact, there is no entrance fee for the festival either. Of course, we'd love to have you join us for some workshops and the pro-shows if possible.

It's true! The latest issue of "Belly Dance: A Raqs Sharqi Magazine" has a fabulous review of the 2009 Las Vegas Bellydance Intensive & Festival. The article includes a 13 page full color pictorial featuring Frederique, Estela, Sabeya, Deb Rubin, Sharon Kihara, Amira, Aisha of Greece, New World Rhythmatism, Wild Card Belly Dance, Yashawini of the Niraja Dance Company, Leyla Amir, showgirls, and Elvis! Our festival performances spots on Saturday are now full. Sunday is more than half full. I suspect that our entire festival will be full by the end of May if not sooner. If you are intending on performing but you haven't filled out the online form, then you should consider registering today!
