I am soooooo excited!!! A belly sister and I signed up last night...I am sooooo looking forward to it!!! So anyone else traveling to LV!!!!!!

...roommates, payment plans, and selling old costumes. LOL. Seriously, you can attend this event on all sorts of budgets. The full package is great, but you can also buy things a la carte. I hope you can find a way to make it. ..g.:

Whoo hoo!! We had an attendee last year who did this very thing. She sold a bunch of her BD DVD's and music that she wasn't using and not only paid for her trip, but had extra for shopping. I've noticed that folks on Bhuz like to encourages the belly dance addiction.

Yeah, I was talking to my guy last night, and after about 5 minutes he pointed out the obvious..."this is what you love, what you want to do forever, and this is an investment in your present and future...do it!" How can I argue with that kind of logic???

Awwww...you have a good guy. I'm so excited for you!! I worked really hard last year to attend a Harry Potter event with my kids that was outside of St. Louis. I'm a single mom, and so traveling with my kids can be challenging. We saved all sorts of pennies to make that trip....and I think we savored the whole thing more because we worked so hard for it. It was incredibly rewarding. I'm sure you'll savor Vegas in a similar fashion.

That was me! Lol! And it was well worth it! It was my favorite event in 2009.

After you posted on FB that you wanted to go, I looked it up and left the webpage up. My husband asked me the next day, "so, were going to LV for a BD weekend? This is gonna be great".

So, then I asked him, where the $ was coming from? He said "they have a payment plan".

That is soooo Awesome!! My friend may also be bringing her hubby too..I cant bring mine..someone has to take care of kiddies first week of school stuff

I'm so excited that we'll be back in 2010!

I've signed up for the payment plan! And am listing non-BD stuff on Ebay...with any luck I'll make extra and can shop while I'm out there! Whee! And my honey is coming with me! We'll have to introduce all the fellas to each other, they can be Bellydance widowers during the day! LOL!

I'm super excited to have you all back again. 2010 is going to be even better. I'm very excited about moving to the Flamingo. The energy on the Strip is just amazing.

Oh...here's another thought for those of you coming with partners. We are offering drum classes this year. We do have some beginning classes as well as drummer/dancer classes that you could take together. I'm super excited about this because I feel that there is a real need (at least here in our Vegas community) for more understanding of the relationship between dancers & musicians and the beautiful "dance" that exists between them.

Anyway...I thought I would just throw that out there as a lovely suggestion of a few classes you might consider taking together. :)

I am going for my 2nd annual LVBI this year. In fact, I enjoyed 2009 so much I signed up for 2010 while I was still there! My husband came with me the 1st time but this year it's just a girl's trip for me and my instructor. As an extra early bird I got my sneak peak at the workshops just a couple of days ago--the choices are wonderful. See you all there! How many more sleeps?

I registered and got a peak at the class schedule! What an amazing line-up of teachers!! Lee Ali will be teaching Moroccan Shikhat! Check out this amazing youtube video:

It's going to be so hard to decide on what classes to take because of the amazing line-up! Samira you really did a great job on this one!

Working on getting the submission form finalized and on the website. I had really hoped it would be finished, but there have been quirky things to deal with. Mercury retrograde anyone?

Soon...so soon. I'll post it here, so no worries.

ahhh! I'm so excited to actually physically see my name up there. :)
