Thread: Jillina's Al Dunia Showcase!

Hey...
Who will I see at Jillina's Al Dunia showcase? It is January 7th...in LA!

Oh NO! I am planning on attending but have no luck finding a hotel! As it seems to be...the Rosebowl is that same night??? Everything is booked it is crazy!

Congrats to all the dancers at the Al Dunia show. You were all gorgeous and very talented. What a treat!
I feel like I have sparkle rhinestone overload after all your shining brilliance!
Saw and finally met lots of bhuzzers and had a blast!
Tanya was there looking super stylish and Ahava was awesome and who else was there?? Bhuzzers reveal yourselves!

Ahava, Shimmytwin and Naima were all beautiful! I got to sit between Tanya and Sahra! it was great! I haven't been out much lately, so it was a treat to see so many people I know and love and fabo dancing!

One of the nice things I HAVE to mention about the show was that it MOVED! Each piece went smoothly and there were only seconds between numbers! Which was great because it didn't drag!

As always, Jillina looked marvelous. Tanya was trying to figure out how to bring two of Jills costumes home with her! It was fun!

That's right! Naima was there! Duh! She wore one of my costume too. Must have been a late night for me.
Which one was shimmytwin?

Shimmy was the beautiful blonde in the Turq. Bella! Lovely! (Emalee)

YES the show was delightful and moved at a nice pace...and OF COURSE I am guilty of wanting to buy costumes off of Jillina's body! Among others!

There were lots of us there. I didn't realize so many Bhuzzers were in the audience of I would have tried to stay after and meet people...we just changed and went for sushi down the street.
It was a great show and I think one of the best laid out that I have ever performed in. It ran so smoothly.

I wish I could have been there, one of the dancers from my dance company was in the show, Dahab, she's blossoming into a really awesome dancer!!

We all tried to rush the backstage to congratulate you girls but you had all changed and left so fast. We just saw you drive away.

I was there dancing (Naima's my stage name) And I Eshta I was wearing one of your yummy cossies! I wish I would have seen this sooner! I would have been on the lookout for more Bhuzzers...and Yeli and Em, I had no idea you guys were on Bhuz!!! It's been a while since I've been on here!

This is the group that attended last year's intensive. There was not a DVD made for this year's performance. :(

how was Jillina's? how i wish i have been able to go south, she is one of my top faves, but saving $ to go to Montreal to JTE 2 and then off to Lebanon in March. Do you know much about the bellydancing scene out there?
