I'll be at the events in Dallas (well, still debating if I have the money for Faten but I sooooooooo want to do it!!!) . . . I'd love to go to DC but I think I'll have to pass.

I'll be at the Randa Kamel workshop weekend intensive (yeah!!).

Faten is my teacher. Go to her workshops if you can. She's awesome!!!

Also, Raqia Hassan is coming to D.C. in mid April (through Faten, not Little Egypt). The details should be on Faten's website, FATEN SALAMA -- Native Egyptian Master Instructor of Danse Oriental 2009.

Hey! My big event is on May 1 and 2, 2010 featuring Gina and Local Stars of Bellydance, too....in Dallas.

Lots of great Dallas events! I'll be teaching a workshop April 17th sponsored by Little Egypt for the grand opening of their dance academy!! Woohoo!

Sorry, Aradia, that I didn't mention your workshop as it wasn't included on the bottom of the email list . . . ;)

So to add 2 more:

Zahra Zuhair on Jan 23rd for 1 day workshop and hafla (oh, my, that is next weekend).

Aradia on April 17th for 1 day workshop and hafla.

And more to come I think . . . but not sure . . . seriously, how much more can we cram into our busy schedules . . . with pocketbooks screaming!

I like Faten too but now it looks like I'll be out of the country during her workshop . . . really will have to plan on this at a later date . . . this might even warrant a trip to DC if I can swing it!!!

For anyone who is thinking of coming to Dallas for the 2 big events (April and July), LIttle Egypt is offering a really good deal.

It isn't up on the website, but basically it is this . . . sign up for the April event between Jan 25 - Feb 25 and pay $210 THEN you will be able to signup for the Cairo Nights event in July for $210 (but payable later, not at the same time as the April event).

Like I said . . . if you are interested in both events, this is a really good deal!!!
